Give Thailand another try

Well, I managed to book another flight for my mother and I to Thailand. We leave next week. It only cost me an extra $700. Oh well, that's what I get for not being prepared to leave on May 4. Live and learn. Remember, if you have an international flight, get to the airport three hours early.

My Thai Cousin

I was supposed to hang out with my cousin Ariel in Thailand. Ariel is 23-years-old. She's very beautiful, funny. I met her two years ago. She spent six months living at my parent's house. We got along well. I was psyched to see her again. I like her. But she thinks of me like a brother. I do feel bad for her though. She has a degree in communications. But in Thailand, the economy is so bad, Ariel has a hard time finding decent work. She works in a retail shop now. She's interviewing for a job as an airline stewardess.
Ariel says she would like to come to the U.S. Sometimes I think I should marry the girl to help her get her green card. But that might turn into a mess. Who knows?

Thailand

I was supposed to catch a plane to Thailand this morning, but my ride to the airport (my older brother) showed up late. My brother overslept, he said. I kept calling him. But he was late anyway. I couldn't get another plane. Now I have to reschedule my trip in another couple of weeks. Major Bummer!
